The Dulles Town Center that is only a few minutes away has many national-brand retail stores, including Sears, Lord & Taylor, JC Penney, and Hecht's. The Regal Cinema Countryside serves as a major gathering area for many younger Potomac Falls residents. Brand new films are released every Friday. The Countryside Commercial and Professional Center is a combination of retail space, offices, and other facilities. Many of Virginia’s best start-up ventures have been developed and grown in Potomac Falls.
